I’m really sad to write a not-so-great review of this place. My husband and I have been wanting to come for a while, and finally got around to it today! With a line to the door and us watching them pile plates to overflowing, I was really excited. I got honey chicken and sesame with steamed rice, and my husband got orange chicken and honey with chow mein. I got egg drop soup and he got spring rolls. I was so excited. But to me, the flavor all fell flat. The sauces weren’t really flavorful and I couldn’t really tell a difference between the meats I got, nor the orange chicken my husband got. I didn’t really enjoy the texture. The chow mein, rice, and spring rolls were great! The egg drop was not bad, either. If volume of food is what you’re looking for, this is definitely the place. The amount for the price is incredible. But for the flavor, this is not the place, at least to my personal tastes! I unfortunately will not be back.

I can’t complain too much I really enjoyed what food my girlfriend was willing to share. I only ordered the egg drop soup. I opened it when I got home and took a big gulp and nearly choked on a scratchy feeling in my throat, coughed it up pretty quick and found a chunk of eggshell. I’m not mad just a little disappointed hopefully it was a one off. I’m sure it based on the number of eggs and dishes they make I just got lucky lol I hope to return and redeem my egg drop “eggperience”

If you're from up North on the East side like me and you miss really good Chinese food at affordable prices then this is your hot spot. The atmosphere is clean , cozy and you feel like you're in a bustling environment with a friendly laid back atmosphere. I love eating in with my daughter and take home. Their prices for party size is phenomenal and I use them for Shabbat. There's food that fits Kosher and food that doesn't. Either way it is good! I will get pictures next time.

China Express is easily one of the best Chinese takeout spots in Fort Worth! The food is fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly that you can taste the quality in every dish. The orange chicken is crispy and full of flavor, the fried rice is perfectly seasoned, and the lo mein is delicious every single time. The service is amazing too. The staff is super friendly, welcoming, and always gets your order ready quickly and accurately. The portion sizes are unreal. They literally pile up the food until it barely fits in the box! You get so much for your money, and the prices are unbeatable for the amount and quality you receive. Most meals are big enough to share or save for later, making it an incredible value. If you’re craving Chinese food that’s tasty, affordable, and served with a smile, China Express should be at the very top of your list. Once you try it, you’ll definitely keep coming back! 🥡🔥
